About the Work
This work was commissioned by an alumnus of Williams College, a well-known liberal arts college in Massachusetts where, in the 1980s, I taught for four years. It is installed in the entrance hall of the Chandler Sports Center and shows contemporary and historic sports at Williams.
″I still use the same approach to my work: I get an idea, think of the title and then make the work. So not much has changed since 1964″
